The company SWR Engineering Messtechnik GmbH (SWR), leading supplier of monitoring solutions for the processing of raw materials as well as in production and environmental protection, has joined  the Environnement S.A. Group (ESA) through an acquisition process conducted by the French company Environnement S.A., leading European supplier of environmental monitoring equipment.

This alliance will immediately strengthen the process instrumentation offering into the powder process market via key distributors across the greater PCME Ltd and SWR divisions. At the same time, it will provide additional product ranges to match challenges in solid and powder flow measurement, as well as for the monitoring of moisture, velocity, dust and level in many industries belonging to ESA customer base.

Following the recent acquisition of TDL Sensors Ltd, a high technology UK based company dedicated in the development of Tunable Laser gas process analyzers, SWR will reinforce significantly the process division of ESA with a sustainable manufacturing and research base in Germany to develop such value added solutions beyond regulatory markets.

The management of SWR, who will stay to participate actively to this new step of development of the company, will work with the ESA management to focus efforts to the anticipated strong growth provided by synergies within the Group. It will benefit their respective customers, partners and employees in terms of expertise, quality and services.

François Gourdon, President and founder of Environnement S.A declares "We are very enthusiastic about the opportunities that we’ll be able to provide to our worldwide industrial customers. The expertise of SWR for the monitoring of solid and powder in industrial processes, combined with the expertise of Environnement S.A Group in the monitoring of gas and particulate, will definitively help to strengthen our activity in process and control”.

Ralf Schmedt, Managing Director of SWR adds: “This strong partnership announced today will boost SWR’s growth plan and strategy, allowing our technology to reach new customers and new markets, while strengthening our capacity to develop new applications”.
